The resort is a great mix - daytrippers come in by boat in the AM, party until 3 pm; VIP party private boats party until 4:30; after, the resort is very peaceful and romantic. Sunsets around 6 pm are beautiful. The rooms are basic but more than enough given you only really will be sleeping in them - comfortable beds, AC, no insects. "To start… I understand there was a change in management just days before we stayed there, so perhaps they are just getting organized… The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property with two lovely, swimming/soaking beaches and a lovely outside dining area. Loud reggaeton blaring… we finally asked them to switch to salsa but still LOUD and constant.If not your thing this will be an issue… The property is in overall good condition… but some key things lacking. Rooms are huge, sheets/beds comfy....

"At the hotel, overnight guests have no advantage over huge day-tour crowds who arrive from 8–9am, take every lounger and fill the pool, with loud music blaring until they leave mid-afternoon."

"Fantastic stay at Las Islas. Rooms were spacious and clean. With lots of privacy to enjoy the terrace and outdoor tub. Lots of activities with different beaches to enjoy (including a private island). Staff was nice and attentive. Ready to help and take you anywhere. Breakfast was really good. But lunch and dinner were OK. Especially considering the prices, which is expected since it’s so remote and isolated"
