Heavenly view, so peaceful listening to the wind in the trees. A real getaway from the bustle of modern life, just wished we could have stayed longer. An adventure driving up the hill for a mile or so too!

Drovers Lodge is THE most idyllic spot in this amazing part of Scotland. Our room was absolutely perfect. There was not one detail missed by the most gracious of host, lovely Angela. Not one thing. The "Urquhart" room was perfectly furnished with a true king bed, immaculately clean, perfect bathroom with great water pressure and all with the best views of Loch Ness. The common areas were really lovely and we felt quite comfortable hanging around. There were books about the area you can borrow to read laying about. Also, a well curated selection of small local crafts and snacks were also on offer at very reasonable prices. Breakfasts were also perfectly thought out and considered by Angela. Again, not one detailed missed and she makes it looks effortless. A true gem in this area. We felt so very welcomed and at home. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Chambre très confortable avec une belle vue surplombant le lac, petit-déjeuner excellent, hôte très sympathique et accueillante et extrêmement serviable. Nous n’avions réservé que pour une nuit mais il aurait été agréable d’y rester plus longtemps.

Beautiful views, tasty breakfast, friendly host, room was large with extras, including little fridge, water, and milk, couldnt fault anything , overall fab stay, make sure you book somewhere for dinner, i would recommend Fidders in the local town.

Bit of a drive to reach the property, but totally worth it when you arrive. Host Angela is simply amazing. The view of Loch Ness is fabulous and the breakfast topped all our other stays.

Quiet place with amazing views of the loch

What a view! If that wasn't enough, the room is very well laid out with good quality furnishings. A lot of though has gone into the decoration of the property. Host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Getting to the property is up a single track road up a hill, with about a mile on dirt track. Best if you take a 4x4.

A True Scottish Location on the "Ness!"

An absolute gem of a place to stay, the hostess Angela was just simply amazing and a lovely person. The Room with view & the service provided by Angela was amazing. I defy anyone not to feel the very same about a stay here. We are hoping to return for longer next year.

The best service and overnight accommodation during our North 500 trip. Stunning location, spotlessly clean with a host who truly goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. Breakfast was truly scrumptious. We would definitely recommend!

I cannot rate this beautiful place to stay enough. Angela was so friendly, making recommedations on where to go for walks and where to eat. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, so tasty! And the location is just beautiful. The view from our room was amazing!

Amazing stay!

This was my favorite stay in three weeks of England, Scotland and Ireland!! Big clean bedroom and bathroom, gorgeous view of Loch Ness, great breakfast and very friendly host and hostess! Everything you could want. The drive up is a little rough, but if my little Ford Fiesta could make it, anybody can!! Wish I could live here! 😊

Stunning location. Beautiful view of lock ness from the julienne balcony of our bedroom, the glass fronted lounge with wood burner and the decking area. The owners were friendly and attentive. Several breakfast options. We had full Scottish which was tasty. Sadly we were only there for the one night.

Perfect Hidden Gem

Our only regret was not staying longer! This is a beautiful place. The hosts are phenomenal and the food was great. Looking forward to coming back! We loved watching the clouds change completely over the loch from hour to hour. The view is absolutely unbeatable.
