"There are times when five stars just aren’t enough. Staying at the Leela Palace was one of them. This hotel is truly outstanding. We have seldom been made to feel quite so special as we did at the Leela Palace - and that is truly incredible from a large hotel. We have just completed a 12 week trip through Southern India and Sri Lanka and stayed in some wonderful hotels. My wife and i both consider the Leela not only the best on the trip, but one of the best we have ever stayed at. Staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely super friendly and every single one we met (and we engaged with a lot!) went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. It seems almost unfair to give special mentions given how lovely everyone was, but we would particularly like to thank the following Vishnu - the sommelier who introduced us to Grover Shiraz (Vijay Amritraj edition). Chandra and Kumar who looked after us at the pool Yasodha and Jeetu in the bar Vigneshwar, Kunal and Shaghul (plus Jayesh the sous-chef) in the restaurants Sonali and Shomali in Guest Relations. A massive thank you to the entire team at Leela - we flew out of Chennai with a very warm and happy feeling because of you. "

" a pleasant stay here, but the Westin at Velachery does not provide adequate facilities for drivers. There is only one bathroom available for around 50 drivers. Because of this, I would hesitate to stay here again."

"Toilets were not clean Bed sheet are dirty. I was travelling from London and not anticipated such a poorly run hotels. This condition is accepted for local crowds but not for people travelling from overseas. "
