"The hotel is very charming and right on the Main Street in Interlaken. The room was very good though the mattress was too soft for my taste. The staff was cordial and helpful. Interlaken prices are high so I would say the overall value was good to very good, though not great. Also, the hotel did provide tickets for free bus transportation in town. The included breakfast was very good too."

"Hotel room layout was good but bathroom needed updating as shower was very limiting in layout and shower head was only small not enough pressure ,no air con but fans were supplied but not adequate enough ,breakfast was a good choice of foods"

"The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby. Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down. Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more."

"Location was perfect - close to shops and grocery stores (to help cut the cost of very expensive dining out in Switzerland). Short walk to Interlaken West train station. Easy bus access. Breakfast was included and was VERY good - lots of variety and delicious! Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is older, and room was pretty basic - no bedside lamps (NOT a game changer), and no A/C, which we discovered is common in Switzerland. Temperatures were warm (high twenty's) during our stay, but we were given 2 floor fans which really helped to keep things comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend."

"We had a bad experience at a nearby hotel and changed for our last couple of days here. The contrast couldnt have been more obvious. The Bellevue excellent in every way as a four star hotel. Location by the river with a lovely terrace at the back; especially the staff; and the great rooms with balconies. Big thanks especially to Jurg and Jenny who were always so helpful. highly recommended for a few days in interlaken."
