Check in time is 2:00pm. Not a second before. You need to go to another motel to check in to this motel because there is no one onsite. The motel is very central. It was very clean. The accommodation is basic but fine for the price.

The motel is not modern and is showing it's age. However the room had the basics I needed, is in a very central location and locals and backpackers are a very friendly bunch of people in this town.

First timer

Second time in Innisfail but first time to stay overnight. Nice location as taxi rank at front and Woolworths across the road.Only negative is having to pick up keys from another Motel...tricky if you're not familiar with the Town, also no laundry and iron.

I am unable to recommend this motel to anyone. I would highly recommend a number of training sessions in customer service and complaint handling and an improvement to their system.

Tv aerial was unplugged and took me ages to work out what the problem was. Ac was turned off at system not the key. Had to get a chair to turn it on. Apart from that it was fine. Entry needs better signage as well.

We didn't like that you had to go to a different hotel to pick up the keys and check in. The air conditioner wasn't working and no one answered the phone. We were unable to contact the staff or Manager as she was trying to run two Motels so was not available. The good side was that it was clean and tidy but if you wanted to sit outside there was only the carpark and it wasn't very pleasant as smokers and ash trays were outside each room so not easy to get away from the smoke.

No warning that water was to be turned off. No water for 20 hours. Had to use public toilets. No shower until it came back on. No staff available most of the time. Don't answer phone when you ring. Door locks automatically so if you accidentally lock yourself out it's hard to get hold of staff. Only a hot car park to sit outside. Smokers in close proximity on either side of our room.

Didn’t like being accused of doing drugs by the other people residing in close hotel rooms to mine! Manager didn’t handle situation professionally and thought it was okay to threaten me telling me to remove whoever was in my or he will have cops remove me when I paid $94. I tried being nice to others in the rooms next to us but because we was black we was a threat to these old people who couldn’t mind their business! Maybe place elderly people in the front building because their old and need to be close to front of property and the young out back always from those who can’t handle noice.

Pulled in to motel look and is rundown and grotty, told by woman ciggy hanging out of her gob (caretaker?) That I had to drive across town to another motel to pick the key up from the owner. I drove around the full and filthy bins and overgrown garden back out and road to the other motel to pick the key up. The owner told me that that is the way that she run thing and that I was lucky to get a room. I was told that the rooms with spacious and very nice. Well that was a lie lot he got dog box with incredibly loud air-conditioner and filthy fans. What an embarrassment for the tourism industry of Innisfail.

Nice little place,just hope the house keeping gave fresh towels and complimentary coffees and tea the next day, and there was no toilet paper which was disappointing Instead of a queen bed i was given double bed with my two eight years old. Besides that the stay was quite and very peaceful.

bad service - dangerous behavior

Not happy with my nights stay. I was woken in the middle of the night by another guest coming into my room with your spare key to room 8. There was no WiFi. There were insufficient instructions regarding check in. I would like a refund please. Mark Riley 0412376464
