「A lovely place to stay. Plenty of space, nice bedrooms and a good sized lounge / kitchen area. Would stay again. 」

「Room, staff and breakfast were great, but sadly would not stay again due to the noise. Bottle pick up loading empty bottles right outside our room at 5am, the noise was awful, and road pretty loud too.」

「Great hotel close to the hall if you’re staying for an event. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Nice touch being allowed late check out as no one else was booked in the room that day. Would stay again」

「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.」

「Room is clean, and quite large. Staff is friendly and helpful.」

「Absolute gem of a place. Sarah is very hospitable and has all the amenities you need for a stay. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was superb. We loved our stay and would love to come back one day thank you.」

「Lovely hotel, staff dealt with a fire alarm very well, good to see well-drilled processes and knowledgeable staff. Good location, didn't use facilities but restaurant looked and smelt great and rooms were good value and comfortable. Internet could have been better however」

「Great pub hotel, delicious food and spacious rooms. Dog friendly, which is a bonus. Worth noting that it is not suitable for anyone who needs accessible rooms.」

「All I needed」

「Lovely welcome from the team on arrival. The room on the top floor was great, comfy bed, good sized room, fridge with fresh milk provided. Really tasty breakfast, available until 12pm which was a nice touch. Friendly place, nice bar and outside area」

「Ok for a low-budget one night stopover.」
