It’s been a week since my stay at the Signature Inn Indio I-10. I did receive a prompt refund from the hotel, but I needed to share my experience. After traveling and staying in numerous hotels around the world for over 20 years, I’ve never come across this many critters in a hotel room. The hotel was recently renovated and the bedding appeared clean, but there was hair on the floor, gum, and critters.
It was clear that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or treated for pests. The gum and hair were off-putting enough, but the number of bugs made the room feel completely uninhabitable. They were crawling along the floors and walls, and I was honestly taken aback. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they were as surprised as I was.
I appreciated the refund, but it doesn’t change the fact that this was an unpleasant and unsanitary experience. I hope the hotel takes steps to address these problems quickly.
