I booked the room weeks in advance. I traveled from another state to watch my son play club baseball at IU. When I arrived to check in I was told I canceled my reservation. I didn’t cancel. The desk person was rude and insisted I canceled my reservation. I repeated that I did not cancel. I asked if there were any rooms available. He said yes, but charged me twice the rate!! I wanted to watch my son play so I felt like I had no choice but to pay. I believe this was a scam. Since rooms were available it made no sense to charge me double. I am going to call my bank to see if there is any legal action I can take to dispute this. Absolutely horrible experience!!!

Intense disinfectant smell in the room’s carpet, drain flies everywhere, soft lumpy bed, amateur patching and maintenance, extremely outdated decor, corroded shower head, no elevator, no nearby restaurants, large bleached out spots in the hallway carpeting, recycled breakfast items i.e. crushed plastic-wrapped waffles served each day. Will not stay here again. Was looking for an affordable alternative to sky high rates for IU homecoming.

This was an emergency last minute booking - paid in full on the app, we have never been charged at any other facility when using the app but this low cost hotel wanted a deposit for their crap hotel room and incidentals which was ridiculous as there is no room service or in room mini bar or anything that would be incidental.

Staff corners Vet and sent her into a panic attack

I am a disabled Vet. Have had a service dog for over 10years. Was asked for proof of disability. Well they got the proof when the black of knowledge by the staff of ADA laws and being threatened to be kicked out, then when I had to be moved to a different room because service animals are allowed in that room the staff ganged up on me in the hall way slamming doors making my anxiety greater making the dogs respond because well that is the job they are tasked to do. They THREW my stuff all over the floor in the hallway! I had a laptop, tablet my wallet all across the floor. Thankfully the only thing that broke was a C cable and was easy enough to replace. The resulting panic attack left me without use of my limbs for a few hours when I was able to get up and move enough for one of my dogs to assist me in helping the staff shut my car up in the parking lot. After pitching a fit when my friend called to have them shut it for me. I was asked for proof of my disability and that my dogs needed documentation of being service dogs. This is a violation of the American Disability Act. Because of the altercation my friend and her dog a pet that we openly admitted and hand money in hand to handle the pet fee for this dog and they tried to turn them away. I will be filing with the ADA over this. The hotel itself looks nice on the surface but the outlets are so worn out I had to stack cups on a spray bottle to keep my laptop charge. DONT STAY HERE it’s not worth the cost.

DO NOT STAY HERE! IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE!

Terrible and scary experience!! The manager tried to let himself in my room several times. He wanted to spend time alone. I have made a formal complaint and will be contacting law enforcement.
