We stayed in the Dolly Parton room. Had so much fun in the arcade with movie night. Meeting new friends, It's a great place to go and relax. I'll definitely be back.

VERY UNIQUE!!

Great place. Very unique. Every room has a theme. The room we stayed in was called Dolly. It was based on Dolly Parton's life. The breakfast is simple but nice.

We had the most Amazing time at Hicksville!! Went with a large group and we loved the rooms, the facilities, the breakfast -- everything! The only thing that concerned me was the rickety stairs leading up to the 2nd story rooms. Would be nice if they fixed those, they felt a bit dangerous. But otherwise everything was fantastic. The Innkeepers were so friendly and helpful, the Rec room was fun, and the views were gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome service and property!!

My wofe and i second time coming here. 1st time was duri g the pandemic when everythi g was social distancing so alot has changed.(for the better) no more havi g to reserve time in the jacuzzi or the rec-room. Able to hang out with other guest is lretty kool! Staff was amazing. Loved the free breakfast in the morning. The two cats on the property (eduardo and norma) were tge sweetest. 10 outta will come back here!

We enjoyed the game room and amenities. The staff was friendly and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Dolly with a view of the mountains and enjoyed listening to her recordings while drinking coffee on the porch. Max and Michelle were great hosts.

This was my second time at thie property. The first was during winter. Both times were amazing. Besides it being super unique, there's so much to do, or not do, if you want to relax. Super fun with a group of any size.

The plaid pantry was very nice. The couch was a little rough and needed some cleaning. The carpet needs some cleaning as well. Other than that the cabin was very nice and cute.

Love this place

I stayed in the haunted mansion room. Super cool, love the theme. Bed was comfortable. There is a mini fridge as well. The waffle for breakfast is probably the best waffle I've ever had. There are 2 resident cats: Norma and Edwardo. Norma is super friendly and will just jump on your lap for affection. Edwardo was nervous. The rec room is open 24/7 and has a huge TV, arcade games, a bar, etc. You can smoke in the rec room, anywhere outside, and in the 420 room. There is a gazebo and it is really relaxing to hang out in. It has giant jenga too. The tub was cool, I took a few baths. The shower is a little iffy, you need to put the shower curtain all the way in the tub so you don't get water everywhere. Also the curtain kept sticking to me while I was showering but that's to be expected with this kind of shower/tub combo. Loved having streaming services in the room and without ads! I will be back!

After being required to pay an additional $40 to take a telehealth Covid test with negative results I showed up to not only find the staff not wearing masks, but none of the other guests as well. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if it weren’t for the 3 very unwelcoming ‘welcome’ emails sent by the owner. A long list of rules and regulations that explain every opportunity they will take to try and charge you more on top of an already expensive room. No pool. No ac. No picnic tables or places to sit outside and enjoy the mountains. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Awesome vibes!!

Had a delightful experience on the property. Private, peaceful, and had a blast in the game room! We had it all to ourselves, jukebox and all! We needed a break from the oppressive blanket of heat in the desert. Hicksville offered the decomposition we needed. We stayed in Christmas Town in mid June, lol. WOW!! We'll be back!

Beware of crazy owner! Beware of stairs!

At age 83 with a bad back, I was unable to navigate 14 stairs required to reach my room. Innkeepers Isabelle & Sophia arranged room exchange with a young couple just arriving. When they phoned owner in Los Angeles, he told them “No room exchanges!” Owner refused to refund $506 paid for two nights. Unable to find alternative lodging on Memorial Day weekend I sat in lobby. As it grew dark, Sheriff sent by owner arrived to arrest me for trespassing!!! I’m still in shock.
