Checking in was disappointing. I reserved a 1 BR suite with walkin shower to accommodate my wife. She is unable to stand. The shower was over a bathtub which my wife couldn’t step into. They offered a different room with walkin shower but her shower chair would not fit thru the door! And, she cannot walk. Then we wanted to order room service dinner, but the restaurant is closed on Mondays. We will stay here again. A bad start for my wife’s birthday celebration.

The sounds of the unit above us due to the buildings structural creakiness did not allow us to sleep at all. Guests above us seemed to be walking normal and doing normal things but it was like it was an 1850s building as far as noise

The room was completely disgusting. Wallpaper coming off the walls, bathroom was full of water stains, rug was fully stained. The worst were the bugs around the room from the bedside table to the washroom. It is very run down room and would not consider staying again. The AC took literally hours to cool down the room and very noisy.

The property needs an update for the room. Our room had the quality of a Motel 6. We were there three days and our room was never cleaned nor were we given clean towels after a request for our room to be cleaned. We price was too steep for the quality at total of $1400 plus parking for three days all in. Breakfast was great however.

Nice, clean rooms. Hospitable staff. Very nice amenities. Great happy hour and breakfast included with the hotel stay. My only complaint is that the people in the room above us walked around most of the night and we could hear the floor creaking with their steps.

I am very disappointed with my stay at Embassy Suites Hilton Palm Desert. The condition of the room(s) do not reflect standards that is associated with the Hilton brand. The rooms were deplorable and lacked the class and elegance that the Hilton brand is known for. No guest should have to stay in or pay for filthy looking soiled carpet, torn headboards, sagging couches, visible wholes in the walls from moved fixtures, sliding off tract doors and the absolute worst a non working toilet. Those were the collective conditions of the three rooms we were given to stay in. Each time Management reminded me that I booked the reservation through Expedia as if the money I paid in advance and any resolution for my Hotel stay lost its value. I am appalled. Either Hilton and Expedia leadership is grossly unaware of the way this property represents its brand in person and on social media or are only interested in a cash grab at the expense of its customers. I really regret giving such a low rating to an establishment that I held in high regard. I really hope the Embassy Suites Hilton/Expedia Leadership do the right thing and follow up and address my concerns in a way that dignifies my time, effort and expense.
