"Wonderful new hotel in downtown Anchorage. Stayed in the least expensive room and it was full of thoughtful easy to use conveniences. Hooks everywhere great Wi-Fi beds were awesome with super good pillow choices. Good blackout blinds. Lovely aesthetics, easy to come and go. Worth it."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Eagle River/Anchorage Area
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Eagle River, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is convenient—just off the highway and close to local shops and restaurants, which made exploring the Anchorage area easy.
The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, especially after long days of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
One area for improvement would be the breakfast selection—it was fairly minimal, and I would have liked a few more hot options. Also, while the hotel is generally well-maintained, some of the furnishings felt a bit dated.
Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills place to stay near Anchorage, this Microtel is a solid choice. I’d consider staying here again for the convenience and value."
