Nice experience, floating down a very clean river in a tube. The park tubing concession didn't seem very well managed; maybe they're just tired from a busy summer season?? When you do this, you are essentially on your own. I didn't see any safety measures in place in case someone got in trouble on the river. Lots of river snags to get hung up on in the river!! FYI

I was scared of alligators at first but this was a great snorkeling site thanks to our experienced guides and even got to see a manatee!!!

Currently the Suwannee river is flooded which affects any natural spring that is connected. Plan carefully and do your homework if you’re planning to visit in the next 2 months

Take the north entrance off SR-47

Very nice spring. Do kayaking or canoeing instead or tubing, so you can see the north part of the spring which is beautiful. Not allowed to bring food or drinks into the spring unless food is in a container (no plastic bag or anything that can contaminate the area)
