Great Location, beautiful stay!
The only bad thing about this Villa were the stairs! With luggage they were very challenging! The room was comfy, the shower had great pressure, the little garden terrace was beautiful and had a very helpful clothesline in it. The hotel was right above the ferry walk area. The owner was friendly and attentive. His machine was down and he told us we could come back in a few days to pay, no stress or worries! They sent us messages before we arrived with pictures showing us where to walk to get there. They also sent us messages about recommended places to go! They were so great! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great view of the sea and island in front of balcony. Great host with free welcome drinks and lavender sachet. Close to everything plus harbor for boat tours etc. Just prepare to climb a lot of stairs since this is an apartment which is helpful to make meals . We are active seniors but still lots of stairs . Most apartments or air bnb are all on stairways mostly on hills. This is an island. Lovely time

Great host and location
Pero is an amazing host. He stayed connected with us before, during and after our stay. He was very kind allowing us to check in earlier and provided great suggestions about places to visit in the city. He even gave is a bottle of local wine as a gift. The view from the room was amazing and location could not be better. The room could be a little more modern though.

Recommended!
Nice little studio with a great view from the large balcony. It was great to enjoy breakfast and a drink in the evening from there. Just a few minutes walk from the ferry - up steps like everything in Hvar but the view is worth it! The owner was fantastic and was very helpful.

Wonderful stay!
This hotel was beautiful! Very clean and spacious. The shower was amazing! Super hot water with great water pressure. Just a note, if you are arriving via ferry as we did from Split, it is all uphill to the hotel. Pack light. The host was so nice and so friendly. This was our favorite hotel we stayed at in Croatia!

Pero is a wonderful host and the place was nice. Check in was good and he gave me good information about Hvar. Only stayed one night and he let me store my luggage while I explored beautiful Hvar after check out. I would highly recommend Peri’s accommodation.

Misleading advertising
Very disappointing. The annexe is not connected to the main building - it is the neighbour’s house. The annexe does not resemble the main property. Cleaning standards were exceptionally poor, despite the host charging a cleaning fee. The lady running the ‘annexe’ (i.e. the property next door to Villa Milton Hvar) is a very friendly and kind lady. It is a real shame that the properties are advertised in the way that they are, which guides guests to expect the same standard in the ‘annexe’ A’s is advertised for Villa Milton Hvar.

- Logo que descer do catamarã no Pier caminhe para a direita e na altura da estátua do “menino sentado pensativo” comece a subir as escadaria 46 degraus , vire à direita e mais 85 degraus e vire à direita novamente e ande uns metros e encontrará a Villa Mario Hvar ( para entrar nos quartos tem mais 15 degraus). Dificuldades se você estiver com malas grandes ou pesadas. - Logo que chegamos o proprietário nos enviou para o prédio vizinho que parecia pertencer a outra pessoa. Estranhei pois as imagens do quarto não eram as fotos do site. - Logo na chegada fui recebida pelo anfitrião simpático com seu cão branco, ele nos explicou sobre os melhores locais de comer e diversões. - Tivemos que pagar mais 30 euros como taxa de limpeza e mais a taxa de turismo. - Quarto pequeno 3,5m x 3,5m reservado para 2 pessoas com uma cama com colchão de espessura baixa e mole precisando de troca. Colchão horrível. - banheiro simples e velho com chuveiro sem amenidades: traga shampoo, sabonetes, etc. - só tem uma tomada no quarto embaixo da mesinha. - + varanda boa. Única coisa boa. - Não tem Tv e nem frigobar. Aqui estava muito quente em agosto e não tinha nem bebida gelada. Boa localização porém para chegar e sair do quarto precisa usar mais de 140 degraus!!! Parece que ficamos em outro estabelecimento!

Beautiful, extremely spacious apartment with a large balcony and incredible views of the harbor. Very clean and modern, yet still had charm. All of the amenities you could possibly need, including a large kitchen and even a washing machine. Pero was extremely welcoming - reached out immediately after I booked and provided detailed directions to the property, as well as a number of great restaurants and places to party. Even with all of the steps, it's less than a 5 minute walk to the main harbor area/ferry port (slightly longer with luggage). If you have a lot of heavy luggage, you may want to take a cab from the ferry when you first arrive, which Pero recommended and said was about 100 kuna (~$15). Also being higher up reduces the noise, so it's not an issue if you don't want to stay out all night partying.

This is the perfect little sobe. The location is great, the room was lovely and the staff super helpful. They let us check in a little early, along with a gift of a local beer. We had rooms 7 and 8 which share a private balcony overlooking the garden and the harbor. Pero folded back the balcony divider so we could sit outside together and enjoy the view. The owner and family live on site, along with big fluffy dog, so this place has a calm, family feel to it. Highly recommend both the lodging and Hver Island!

Our stay was incredible! We were lucky to receive a free upgrade to a beautiful, modern suite with an amazing balcony and view. The owner, Pero, was a very kind and warm host and easily reachable on WhatsApp. I wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely stay again if we return one day :)

Nos pareció bastante normal, tenía cocina y refrigerador, por lo que permitía cocinar y comer ahí mismo. La limpieza muy buena y Pero fue muy amable y cordial en darnos toda la información necesaria sobre la isla y sus actividades. No nos gustó que en el baño la cortina era traslúcida, así que se veía todo desde afuera.

Well what to say. It was very disappointing. For £140 or 155€ it was the most basic room. The bathroom was tiny, 30 years old, the shower leaked, the toilet pan stained brown. The room was also tiny and the furniture pre-Croatian independence. On the positive side the balcony was large, the view is beautiful, the owner/staff friendly and helpful, and the air conditioning worked quietly and efficiently. Hvar was lovely, but having stayed 2 nights, I think it unlikely I would return.

The room is very basic, but the view more than makes up for this. This was the most basic room I stayed in whilst in Croatia and the most expensive. However again, I would happily stay here and even pay more due to the view overlooking the bay. The hosts were amazingly friendly and knowledgable!

The only bad thing about Hvar
Our stay was doomed from the start. Firstly, this 'hostel' should not even be on a hotel website as it's the furthest thing possible from a hotel. Upon arrival we had no clue what to do so after trecking up about +150 stairs with our luggage we had to awkwardly wander around what we assumed was a hotel or private villa, but actually someones home. If we wanted to stay in a shared home we would have done so and gone with a MUCH cheaper & more affordable Airbnb with a shared living space. After finally being greeted we were taken to our room which was extremely tiny and out dated, which I can only compare to a tiny university dorm room. The room had 1 accessible electrical outlet, the washroom was old and outdated, and the bed sheets were rough and on a bed that was low to the ground and hard as a rock. The pictures & price are VERY deceiving for the quality you get. I visited a few other friend's Villas around Hvar and couldn't believe how much better theirs were for paying MUCH less then we did. The worst part of it all was that one night we accidentally got a stain on the sheets (100% not intentional), and something that sometimes happens, and we got scathing mean messages from the 'landlord' telling us to never come back, after the second night of a 3 night stay. He went from being presumably nice to horrifying, and I had to spend my day arguing over the phone with him to allow us back. It was so bad that we decided to get a whole new place of our own. Horrible memories.

Clean and beautiful villa with a great location. Quick walk to ferry, restaurants and shops. Pero was an amazing host who was very informative and helpful. Gave great recommendations (restaurants, activities & beaches) and directions. Very safe!
