The property needs to be cleaned thoroughly. The walls and doors were dirty, there were cracks in the ceiling from water damage that had not been repaired, and some of the bedding was stained. Will not stay there again.

Good for a small town.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was great it just needed some minor repairs in the bathroom. The breakfast was close to nothing, but it was good enough for a grab and go. Owner was very polite and kind.

On older facility but in really good shape. Probably had been updated not long ago. Clean and comfortable and reasonable. Should I ever need a place to stay in Sterling I would not hesitate to stay again

Convenient and clean

This is the only motel in a very small town. We were there to visit Sterling College. We arrived late at night and it was 20 degrees. The room looked renovated, it was clean and the heater worked well. The staff seemed nice and helpful.

Better to stay in Hutchison - Skip this one

Check in process was a zoo, we discovered upon arrival that one of the 3 rooms we booked smelled horrible and they refused to refund us for the one room, though we returned the key and didn’t use it. The place needs to be painted very badly, repair issues, and CLEANED. Dirtiest hotel I’ve seen in years.

Was a bit pricey for the offerings and one of the staff had some problem with English pronunciation, which made phone conversations difficult. But overall, it was fine. The owners might want to explore why the lobby had an oppressive odor and the breakfast offerings were below average. For those reasons, I downrated my score

I see that they been doing upgrades since last time I stayed. Up grades look nice! The security latch was broken. The bathroom door has not been cleaned for a very long time. There was spit on wall above trash can in bathroom.

The room was clean and the bed was good, the shower, however, was hardly passable. Very little water pressure. The fixtures were hanging from the wall. Couldn’t feel like we rinsed off completely. The lobby door was always locked and we had to knock several times to get anyone to let us in to get a very sparse continental breakfast. I did enjoy the small town setting.
