The staff were very nice. The property is old. There is no AC in the lobby or common areas like the other newer hotels. There was a musky, stale smell in the room. There was a mouse in the dining room.

Located very strategically near the Old Quarter, yet is able to avoid being too crowded with vehicles in the evening. Reception was helpful, especially in the evening, and gave us some good suggestions for food and places to visit. Airport shuttle service to the hotel was also exceptional

It may have once been a 4 star, but no longer. Check in couldn't find my booking, and then had to make a phone call to find it. To then be told my room would be 30 minutes. Even though I had advised them of my arrival time. This was soon rectified when I reminded them of this. The room was very dated, although comfortable. The bathroom was dirty, hairs and an unemptied bin. The shower over bath was not very suitable for our children, nor for an adult when showering next to a glass window! On arrival I had to call maintenance as we had live electrical cable in a largish switch box next to my children's bed exposed Mid way through our stay we lost hot water. On calling maintenance, 30 minutes later, we were fixed. To be then told it would take 15 minutes to heat up. Not handy when trying to get the kids to bed. First night we realised our room, although at the back of the hotel, was still subjected to the noise from the nightclub over the road which continued into the early hours. Room servicing made our bed and changed our sheets, and kindly switched.of our AC, so on a return we had to wait for the AC in the room to take effect. First breakfast, I found that all of the pork products were under an inadequate lamp to keep them warm. They were stone cold. I advised them of this and they went and reheated me a plate full. No thanks! So they went and got me a new plate. Still cold. I took my kids to the pool to find it outside, unheated with an empty jacuzzi, so I fa

In the past this hotel must have been glorious, but today lacks maintenance and renovations. Except a brand new mattress, all was very dated. The decor is an interesting feature of this hotel, which many people might like. I would have loved it if the due maintenance was done over the years. The staff is fantastic, a service that you would expect in the best hotels. Very attentive, professional and kind. I've got a free upgrade, with a river view, that was a big plus.

Great location, beautiful views of river,
Very nice comfortable hotel, in a great location, on the river with lovely views, the hotel is big and spacious the rooms have lots of space, the bed was comfy, the staff where faultless everyone pleasant willing to help and chat, and always with our fault smiling, the breakfast was a great selection and eat as much or as little as you want, My only down sides where, it was Halloween weekend so a lot of noise from night life, but didn’t bother me too much and the bathrooms, are a little dated, maybe investment in remodel would make it a great stay. But location and staff make this great value and very pleasant.

This hotel, like most of Hue is quite dated. The room was huge and facilities many and regally appointed, but quality has lapsed without good maintenance. The gym was mostly unusable and the pool passable, luckily it was raining (as Hue does often) so I had no desire to check the water quality.

I have been to this hotel before and I would like to test the VIP benefit when I booked this time but I did not have the good experience as I expected. - "This property offers transfers from the airport and train station (surcharges may apply)" should not be included in the instruction. The hotel should just recommend the good transportation service with the price range so that visitors can make arrangement. Other places may offer shuttle or pick-up service. By stating "offer transfers", it may mislead visitors with available service. - On arrival, the staff at Reception erased some information from the key packet with whiteout marker(they might have moved me to another room knowing that I checked in as one person, not two) and accidentally stained my passport. She did not do anything and returned the stained passport to me. I would strongly recommend the hotel that they stop using this whiteout marker. - When I checked in to the room, the toilet dispenser was broken that the toilet paper roll can not be used. When I called and made a request for room change, they at first said I should temporarily use it while they manage to fix. I had to say I expected a better service for a longer stay and I finally got the room change. - The toilet did not have hand soap available and I had to check if I could get some. Hand-wash is very important. I hope the hotel will pay attention to this and make it available. - If you expect a quiet place, you may look for other types of room.

Its quite a dated hotel. The pool was so so. I had a fantastic massage in the spa area, but its really old and shabby in there. Very good location in walkable distance to heaps of restaurants.

Decorated with bamboo theme throughout the hotel . Old style but still show craftsmanship. Great courtyard and totally safe at all time . Access to Huong River from back courtyard, nice place for pictures or for just rest the leg. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great continental breakfast with local and some Western dishes. Highly recommend.

Was a bit of noise from the nightclub across the road. Also couldn't use the sauna as it was part of the spa services! Machines in gym were a bit old. We booked because of the pool but unfortunately it rained our entire stay.
