"Property is older and a bit dated, but staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate plumbing issue early in the morning of our last day (due to the early morning hour, no maintenance person was available, but the front desk clerk was quick to get us into a different room quickly). "This is the type of motel that homeless people live in. Smelled very mildewy and was very run down but was visually clean. Okay to sleep in for 8 hours, wouldn't linger any longer."

"I loved the location of this property on Wards Road on one of the main drives in Lynchburg and down the street from some of my favorite stores and restaurants. I also was impressed with the series of "Best of Lynchburg" awards this location has received for multiple years straight. Regardless of who was on duty, the staff acknowledged me and greeted me, the overall hotel and halls were quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast had everything I was hoping to enjoy and then some.
