"Expectations were blown away at this beautiful place. You can tell it was at the peak of style and quality when last renovated, and it’s been very well maintained. The communication, service and hospitality of Frau Büngers personally was proof that we were staying in a cozy, non-corporate, family run place. Simply fantastic. Clean, comfortable, perfectly situated just a hop, skip and a jump away from the beach, all amenities at your fingertips. We stayed in one of the suites, so enjoyed a fully outfitted kitchen, inclusive of microwave and even dishwasher. If I struggled to find a complaint it would be that the kitchen needs a toaster. Another observation would be for those with mobility issues. While the property does have an elevator, one has to go up stairs to access it. Further, the reception is location in the souterrain, requiring one to first escalate a half flight of stairs before either taking a full flight down or using the elevator. Not a complaint for the physically fit, but certainly an observation for those who require assistance. Overall, a fantastic option in a beautiful, rural, relaxing part of Germany. "

"Everything is new, and it's mostly wonderful. That said, whomever planned the lighting switches and electrical needs some practical education. WHY is the shower light in with the toilet and nowhere near the shower itself? There are just some NUTTY lighting switch and electrical configurations. Once you figure them out, it's OK, but seriously. And the super nice in-bathroom steam bath is great -- but NEVER accidentally run it with the door ajar. The entire hotel fire alarm system went off when the room by ours set of the alarms with their steam bath. Not fun. But loved the place overall."

"Overall nice visit but the check in process was a real mess. The front desk attendant presented us with a tablet where we had to enter ALL of our info AGAIN—address, name, email, credit card info , passport info, telephone , and much more. Everything we already supplied when we made the online booking. This took an unnecessary extra 10 minutes of our time when they could have just extracted this info from our reservation details. We always hate it when companies put their work off on the customer. This needs to change! "
