「Great location for exploring the lakes. Staff are chatty and friendly which made me feel at ease as a solo traveller. Excellent meal in the evening and breakfast. Will stay again. 」

「We have been staying in hotels around Derwentwater for in excess of 20 years. The Glaramara experience tops the lot! We will not be looking for an alternative hotel in future. The accommodation was spacious and well laid out. Much thought has gone into furnishing and decoration of the hotel interior. Everywhere was bright and spotlessly clean. But above all was the standard of service and friendliness of the staff. A fabulous hotel.」
