「This hotel is close to the main market square. There is also a supermarket just opposite to the hotel. Everything is good except that it is a really small room. It is hard to open a big suitcase.」

「Very helpful and engaging staff-- they had good suggestions on things to do in town, were friendly, and did a great job anticipating our needs.」

「When you balance the comparative price of other places in the area and the quality of the room you get, this place was excellent, and I would stay again. Nice fittings, spacious, etc. It's a little quirky. There won't be anyone at reception when you arrive and the front door will be locked, anyway, regardless of whether you are within reception hours. It's not the most obvious sign, and there are two potential front doors, but eventually you'll see the sign that says you need to call a number...

「Room was a reasonable size, but as others have said, the bathroom is small, so could be difficult for a larger person. Our air-conditioner was playing up a bit, the Reception had someone look at it and it worked OK after that. Only paid for breakfast one day. It was OK, but the only hot options were scrambled egg and bacon. Overall a pleasant stay in a lovely town, being an ideal base to go to the Assen MotoGP.」

「The location is close to Downtown, Groningen. The room style is quite old and the furniture is also quite old. There was only one window facing the chimney. When the window is open, flies often got in. No lift nor air conditioning. While the temperature was up to over 26, we could only rely on a noisy electric fan. The merits about the room were that the bathroom was spacious and cozy and breakfast was great. 」

「Facilities were good. Stay spoilt by someone trying to smash the front door in at 4am in the morning. Maybe we were unlucky, but not a nice experience. Wouldn’t risk staying again.」
