"I prepaid my stay at this establishment and after traveling all day to attend a wedding the next day I was told at the front desk that they had NO ROOMS AVAILABLE and that it was first come first first served even though and again it was prepaid through Hotels.com, who only offered me a refund. Leaving me to fend for my self, driving from hotel to hotel to find any vacancies. I did find one after 2 hours at triple the cost of my original booking. Poor customer service from the hotel and Hotels.com."
"Disgusting and we refused to stay there. Although it’s not in a bad area, we did not feel safe. Property had obviously not been maintained in a while, grass was overgrown. Garbage in lobby was overflowing, floors were dirty. Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to tell them we weren’t staying. Refunded our money and said we had to go through Expedia to get it processed because that is who we booked our stay through. That night the hotel recharged the credit card and, because they don’t answer the phone at the front desk, Expedia said they can’t do anything because they can’t confirm what happened. Five days later they put a $14 charge on my credit card as well - we have no idea what that was for and they deny it but it’s listed on my statement clear as anything."
"A beautiful property. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Wonderful restaurant on the premises, offering indoor and outdoor dining. Food was excellent. Lovely patio with comfy furniture. Unfortunately, people were hanging out until 3:00 a.m being very loud. This ruined our trip since our room was right above where the group was, which made it difficult to sleep. It's a shame that this happened. It's highly unlikely that someone on staff didn't see or hear anything. Use of the patio should be prohibited after a certain hour since there are many rooms right above it. Upon our return home, I noticed our account was charged again. Room was paid in full month's before our stay. When I called the hotel to discuss this, I also brought up the patio issue. A very nice gentleman named Vincenzo listened to my concern and apologized for the inconvenience. Said the hotel normally closes the patio at a certain hour. Obviously, someone dropped the ball. He also resolved the billing issue."
"TERRIBLE - Stay Away!!
I've driven by this hotel many times and ASSUMED that with the ETHAN ALLEN name on it that it would be a very nice hotel. The facility is a time capsule that hasn't been touched or cleaned since the 1990s ! Torn and wrinkled carpets, banged up and dirty walls, tattered shades and drapes, dirty furniture, and the entire place SMELLED like a combination of musk and dirty feet.
Went into the restaurant 20 minutes before closing and the bartender told me (and 2 other guests) he could only make me a drink TO GO and that we couldn't stay in to drink it.
Very disappointed........"
