Hike 0.4 miles (0.6 kilometers) up the paved forest trails and boardwalks and see native orchids and vivid green ferns.
Marvel at the tumbling waters of the Kahuna Falls. Continue along the trail to find the magnificent Akaka Falls, a 443-foot (135-meter) waterfall, which cascades into a deep gorge. The hike takes less than an hour. A small entry fee applies to the park. Enjoy your delicious Honomū treats at the park’s picnic tables near the entrance.
