「The cottage was amazing, access gained easily when we arrived. The property was nice and clean and well presented. We travelled with 2yr old twins and 1 cot was provided and 2 high chairs which was brilliant for us as we were able to bring our own travel cot as well. Plenty of room for the four of us. information on shops and local amenities was good. 「Fabulous hotel. The food was first class, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. everything was excellent, clean and comfortable, all the facilities you would except were available. If I am being pedantic, the decor in the cottage was dated compared to the main hotel, but some may love the styling. We will definitely stay again 」

「Our hosts couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The room was excellent, with a really comfortable bed, and spotless bathroom. The breakfast choices were plenty for everyone. The Full English being my choice and was excellent. Recommend to everyone.」

「The hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. 」
