Excellent value for money - rooms nice and clean enough. Breakfast is basic but nice that its included. I do think as most other resorts include free bicycle rental, that this should be included aswell. Dog in the corner of the hotel makes me really sad.

Would 1000% recommend staying here! This is a beautiful resort in a beautiful location. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The receptionist of the Homestay was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and had complementary beverages and snacks. Breakfast was included, which was fresh made and delicious. After our visit, we even received some more snacks for our trip back to Hanoi. I can definitely recommend it.

Beautiful area with gorgeous mountains, waterways, and wildlife. But unfortunately, local tourists from Vietnam as well as some foreign tourists litter and damage the ecosystems. Also big problem with burning of trash with plastics causing toxic air.
Go exploring in the smaller roads among the rice paddies. Far fewer tourists, though I didn't find the number of tourists too bad overall. Just go out early and definitely get off the main roads. Very safe and the exact beauty I hoped for in Vietnam.
