"I stayed in a Junior Premium Suite at Barceló Bávaro Palace, and unfortunately my experience did not meet expectations. There were several issues during my stay. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. Between the lack of internet in my room poor customer when reporting it. Bad service at the buffet, and the unacceptable cleanliness and pest (cockrouch) issue in the room, i found bugs, and this was not the relaxing vacation experience I expected. I hope management takes these complaints seriously and improves the quality control and service."

"Hotel is very clean but some rooms the ac doesnt bring down the temperature much it was on the high side 24°-25° another room was humid inside for some reason. The people are super nice they always tried to accommodate you to the best they could, the restaurants could get some improvements food wasnt the greatest the menus didnt have much to offer and there isnt much entretainment. Drink only the bottle water"

Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Breathless was very clean and visually beautiful; however, the service did not meet expectations. Several staff members were rude and seemed irritated whenever we asked for assistance or requested rides around the resort. One experience that stood out was when my partner and I went to redeem our coupons. A female staff member joked that after his spa service he could receive a “happy ending” and laughed about it. I found that comment completely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially at a resort that promotes luxury and comfort. Even after expressing that I did not think it was appropriate, the situation was simply laughed off. We also attended a presentation for what appeared to be a timeshare opportunity. The representative was very friendly during the presentation, but once we politely declined, his attitude changed completely. He became aggressive and visibly upset, which made us uncomfortable. We were originally told that whether we purchased or not, everything would be fine either way, so the reaction at the end was disappointing. Additionally, the food caused stomach issues for both of us almost every day of the trip. Since we stayed on the Xhale side, we expected a higher level of service and overall experience. Unfortunately, it felt like the regular side of the resort actually provided a better atmosphere and service. Overall, while the resort itself was clean and attractive, the customer service, professionalism, and dining experience was excellent."
Hotel Riu Republica - Adults only - All Inclusive

"The room itself was not as clean as it could be, I took note that on the surface level it was mostly clean but you can tell it hadn’t had a deep clean in a very long time. The staff was nice at our resort but the Riu Party staff was not. The staff that is in charge of organizing the transportation to and from the party were very rude by telling you to hurry up and dismissing you when you don’t speak Spanish. My partner and I look Spanish but we aren’t and don’t speak it so we received some poor treatment due to this, for example they had Spanish speakers go infront of us in line to board the party bus and we needed to wait a long time for the next one and they didn’t communicate anything with us like that we would need to wait for the next one. We also had less people than them so it wasn’t about that. Lastly the bartenders at the Riu parties specifically in the pool were the rudest by far. One of them used his hand to shush someone and when I told them it was my bday to be nice they said they don’t care in a rude tone and didn’t serve me until I made it a bigger deal. They were serving men that came way after me and at one point people had to start serving themselves cause they would only serve those who tipped them but we were in the pool so we couldn’t get tips out at that time. We tipped every other time just bit while in the pool at Riu parties. I also saw a cockroach in the buffet area and the food was not good but I’m a vegetarian so there weren’t many options anyway."
