I loved this property, will be the hotel to stay at In Nagoya. Three travelers in one room, enough space. Loved the products in the room. Was soo good. Location very convenient when taking the JR rails etc. the staff was very friendly as well.

Loved the onsen and the staff was exceptional. I had forgotten my ipad at our last hotel and they helped contact them and set up to have it delivered to our hotel that we were staying at 4 days later. Very helpful!!

I recommend Genjikoh for the amazing Japanese experience of enjoying the open bath overlooking the ocean and the various activities in the hotel such as the scent workshop. We booked a room for 5 and it was spacious and was pleasantly surprised it has 2 toilets. The sea view was breathtaking. We don’t book the meals as we don’t eat raw food but we had difficulty finding a good eatery outside as there are few amenities nearby and they close early. This place is great for those who drive but inaccessible otherwise even though the hotel has a shuttle bus. We are glad we had a rental car and could enjoy this great ryokan experience!

Super convenient location, only one minutes from Kanayama station which directly connected to 2 major trains (JR and Meitetsu) and subway. Room was clean and good size but occasionally smelled sewer from the bathtub drain. We stayed about 10 nights, breakfast was almost the same everyday and got really tired of it soon. Luckily couple of convenient stores and many restaurants are nearby and we used them to get meals and snacks. Laundromat and AEON are within 5 minutes walk.
