Conveniently located hotel close to the Autobahn 5, located in a charming old building. Lovely furniture in the room, yet the fixtures in the bathroom are a little dated. Comfortable bed, very quiet surroundings and free parking overnight. Definitely recommend, good cost/performance!

I arrived late (It was like 1 or 2am) for my stay due to train delays but the staff both at check in and check out were not the most friendly. When I checked in, the clerk said he couldn't find my expedia itinerary (this is a property/expedia problem, please fix!) and he charged me again! Expedia later cleared it up, but when I checked out and got the refund for the extra charge the second clerk also stiff and unfriendly. Rooms were fine, but they had no "do not disturb" signs. People need time to get rest and get ready!

This was a nice little German older hotel in the center of a small town. Parking was easy and there was a nice included breakfast. The only problem was the heat in my room was not working and after hours there is no one there to help. It was cold outside, and I had to use the comforter from the other bed and wear two shirts to be warm enough to sleep. In the morning the man at the front desk said “yes, we are working on it,” which didn’t help the night before and he offered nothing more — but he made it sound like they knew about it, so why would they have put me in such a room?

Good price, but a bit dated. Transportation options not ideal. Breakfast was excellent, but the room's shower head holder broke. I wasn't told that the hotel would be locked by 10 pm. Luckily I had a key. A phone number was at the door, but for international travelers without a phone, this is a big problem.

Fine hotel with a pool and reasonably priced

Fine hotel, helpful employee. Pool only open in the afternoon and until 10pm, so don’t count on a morning swim. Reasonable price.

they will charge you 50 euros for parking and then you will receive a 85 euro fine for parking a few months later. very loud in there

Good price, room just OK though

OK for the price. One of the cheaper stays around Heidelberg, service is good and breakfast is not bad at all, however the rooms are quite old at this point and could do with a renovation to bring them up to standard. There is no AC available, and so during the summer the room gets very warm and the windows had been kept closed during the day of our arrival which meant it was like a sauna when we arrived. In order to keep the temperature acceptable during the night we had to fully open the window, however just outside the hotel is a church bell which seems to ring loudly every 15mins, EVEN during the whole night. So we had to choose to either sleep in a very hot room or be woken up by the bell every once in a while. The walls are very thin as well. So if you want a perfect night's sleep it might not be the best place unfortunately. It's probably fine during any other time than in the middle of the summer though.

Die Fotos von den Zimmern müssen einige Jahre alt sein, eine Renovierung wäre mal angebracht, noch nicht mal die Halterung von der Duschbrause hält vernünftig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker mit guter Auswahl.

Wir haben zwei Nächte übernachtet und die Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Wie in anderen Rezensionen erwähnt, sind die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer ist renoviert, allerdings fängt es an in die Dusche zu schimmeln. Das Frühstück war top and das Personal waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

das Hotel kann man grundsätzlich empfehlen. preis-Leistung ist gut aber sollte vielleicht mal überlegen das ein oder andere Zimmer mit Parkett auszustatten der alte Teppich den wir im Zimmer hatten ist jetzt nicht mehr so toll gewesen. Matratzen waren gut.
