Excellent Hotel with lots of amenities and a wonderful onsen/ sauna. Great location for catching the 20 minute ferry to Miyajima island which is a beautiful, must visit. Going to peace museum is a lot more of a trek / train ride but it’s not too bad. Highly recommend!
We could see Miyajima Island from our hotel. The traditional ryokan style room was fun. We slept very well. There is a free ferry from the hotel island but you have to reserve it in advance and we couldn't figure out how to do it until it was already filled. They have welcome icecream from 3:00 to 5:00.
Staff were very accommodating and helped us understand where everything was even though we only knew minimal Japanese. They took the time to make sure we were comfortable. We had the executive room with a separate bath facing the Miyajima Island. It was a beautiful view. The only thing we wished was that the bath would be bigger and that we had more time at the hotel! They also have a free shuttle to and from the subway station. Thank you for the excellent hospitality & delicious assortment of local food.
The room setup is a nice, more traditional layout; and the included choice of your kind of outfit is really fun. This hotel was quite a nice surprise considering the location, all for really good value

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff are excellent at helping with all of your questions. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the town and there is a frequent (and free) shuttle can that can take you to/from the hotel. The breakfast and dinners at the hotel are great, featuring local fish and meats.
Large room compared to other hotels in other cities. Very clean, beautiful ocean view with free drinks (only on certain hours). We only stayed for one night after touring around Miyajima, but was very impressed, and wished we stayed longer. There is a Shuttle Bus that takes you to and from the Miyajimaguchi Station to the Hotel! That is very convenient!
The hotel is amazing—well maintained and offering great amenities such as hot spring baths, yukatas to wear around the hotel, a wide selection of bath accessories, and a shuttle service to the station. The only downside is that the staff dont speak English, but they genuinely try to understand you, and using a translator works perfectly fine.
Beautiful property with lots of amenities, but very busy. Large room with space to spread out.We opted for a sea view and could Itsukushima Torii across the way. The shuttle pick up from Miyajima station, water taxi to Miyajima island, free drinks and free ice cream were great. Didn’t have a chance to use the public bath or laundry facilities, but that was available.
We had a wonderful time there and would return next time we are in the area.
Property was nice. They have a shuttle for the train station which was a great surprise!

Really enjoyed the hotel. Some nice touches . Ice cream, free beer, kimonos for the hot springs and a shuttle to the ferry terminal. We loved Miyajima Island! Make sure you
go to the top of Mt Misen.
Loved the location and services provided: shuttle to train station, ferry to Miyajima Island. The breakfast and dinner- we chose half board, are amazing! We did not use the onsen, though included, so cannot comment. We loved our stay and will do stay again when in the area.
We were a group of 4, in 2 Superior Twin with Lake View rooms. The view was wonderful and the grounds extensive. The room was a good size, but the bathroom felt like a caravan. Location near the wharf was great and we caught the ferry out to Miyajima Island.( hint: try the oysters, they're delicious and cheap.) The seas came up and I received a phone call from the hotel informing us it wasn't safe to return on their ferry but we could catch the public ( larger ) ferry. On the second night, we had booked the restaurant for dinner. There is only one restaurant to eat in. Although a bit expensive, it was excellent food. On our first night, the restaurant was full, so the only option was to walk beside the road, in pouring rain to a nearby 7/11 or McDonalds. I loved the onsens. The hotel could have a second eating option available and a better designed bathroom with shelves.

We thought the hotel was located in Miyajima island but was in the main land. You have to get a cab to get there. We have ocean view room. But as it was second floor there was a terrace with a wall. So you have partial view. Room size was ok for Japan Standards. Bathroom small. I touch the celing with my head in the shower. Never happened in my life. We tried to have dinner at the hotel. They told that we need a previous reservation. Reservations shold be done on the previous day, Impossible for us as we were staying there for one night. All the restaurants close to the hotel were closed. It was 19.30. We ended in a fast food place. If you are planning to go to the island it only takes half and hour from Hiroshima and with 5 hours at the island is enough time to visit the most.
This is a very nice hotel, about 10 minutes by foot from Miyajimaguchi train station and the Miyajimaguchi ferry depot, and just a few minutes by car.
The hotel offers many complementary services including daily shuttle buses to and from the train station, daily boat ride to Miyajima at 10 AM and Van to the hotel at 3:30 PM, free bicycle rentals, free drinks, soft serve, and even beer. I wish they had a few more boats going across and back. 3:30 PM is a little early.
There is only one dining option. We didn't know a reservation was needed in advance min. two days prior for dinner, so it wasn't until the third night we got to try the 7700 yen per person dinner. (McD for the first night, udon second night, both closely.) Both breakfast and dinner include a chef prepared small dishes, and also give you access to their buffet items. Dinner included oyster, squid, eel. The buffet was the same both mornings we had it. The food was good but not worth the money and time taken away from sightseeing Miyajima.
There aren't many restaurants near Miyajimaguchi.
Service was beyond excellent. The facility was excellent. The onsen was a little small though. They had three washer/dryer combo machines in the public area, two more in the men's onsen area and three in the women's onsen area.
Also nearby is a convenience store. McD is almost throwing distance.
There are only a few taxis available in the region, but was only 25 min/7000 yen to Hiroshima. There are no city buses.
