Ask for a bed in the dorm room on level 5

Lucked out and scored the 4 bed dorm on level 5 opposite the roof top terrace. The lift only goes as far as level 4 and you have to take the stairs for the last little bit but for the relative peace & quiet of the top floor it’s worth it. The 4 bed dorm also feels spacious by comparison to those on the lower levels.

Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and polite—even by Japanese standards! Our room was clean, with great sink, toilet and shower facilities. No PJs or toiletries supplied in our three-person room, but the fast wifi, air-conditioning, slippers, tourist advice made up for that. We’d stay again!!

施設のスタッフさんのチェックインの対応から、このホテルの期待度が高かったです。 繁華街からかなり離れておりますが、駅から１０分くらいの距離でしたが、美味しそうな下町感あふれるお店も多く、美味しいお好み焼きのお店にも出会えました。 とにかく海外の方も多く、飲食スペースでは自炊できるように調味料とや食器、コーヒー無料スペースもあり、こんなに素晴らしいゲストハウスは初めてです。 部屋の照明が一つなので、周りの方には気を使うかもしれませんが、それ以外はパーフェクトに近いです。 是非とも紹介したい、また利用したいと思いました。 施設の清潔感も本当に気持ち良かったです。

This was the only hostel we stayed in during our entire time in Japan among other notable hotel chains, and I can honestly say this location was just as helpful, clean and spacious in our room as our much more expensive options. We were all pleasantly surprised with our stay, very quiet, cozy, and in a convenient location to catch cable cars and JR lines and interesting sites of Hiroshima. Checking out a towel for 100 yen saved us!

Nice location and friendly staff!

The location is pretty good. It's closed to Hiroshima station and the downtown (appox. 10 mins on foot). The staff were very polite and friendly. The room that I stayed was very clean as well. I'm definitely happy to stay there. The price was cheap enough. I super recommend to stay here!

Very nice and effective staff who can speak English. The location is convenient, although it takes around 10 minutes to walk from Hiroshima station, it is close to the Hiroden station. Therefore it is still very easy to travel around the city.

K's is a very good place to stay. The staff is welcoming and incredibly helpful. It has a full kitchen, laundry facilities, amenities are available, comfortable beds with cosy fluffy duvet. Clean, quiet and very convenient location just a few minutes walk from street tram or bus and train station. You will not regret choosing K's unless hostel trolls are also staying in your room but that cannot be helped by anyone regardless of what hostel is chosen.

A warm place in the heart of Hiroshima

We came to Hiroshima for 3 nights. Since my partner is traveling on a very low budget, we were looking for a place to stay that would be cheap, clean and nice. We looked for a couple of days and were about to give up and split, when we found the deal in K's house. The place is wonderful. It is located a couple of minutes walk from Hiroshima station and about 10 minutes walk from the Peace park and city center. As for the hostel itself, the staff were super nice and helpful and the check in was smooth and easy. We booked a private room for two and my impression is that we got a bigger room for the same price (there were 3 of each in the closet - towels, futon mattress, duvet, etc.). I was surprise to find out they change the towels everyday.. I did not expect that in a hostel. As for the common area, it was wonderful - lots of movies to watch, board games, books about Hiroshima and even Origami papers and books. The kitchen is great. Fully equipped with everything that is needed to prepare food. There's also all kinds of herbs, spices, Japanese spices and various kinds of tea and coffee. When the 3 nights were over, I returned to Osaka but mu friend stayed for another 3 nights an got a really last minute deal on a bed in girl's dormitory. Excellent place.
