Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a Doubletree by Hilton

"This property can be Hilo's heartbeat. The location was breathtaking. They survived the storm, and they were very accommodating to guests. The restaurant was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the text communication was great. The room was funky, with plexiglass between the bathroom and the bedroom. It was very convenient to the airport, local parks, and all the sites. Would stay again on a future visit."
Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel

"It's an older building with charm. The room was very clean and maintained by housekeeping daily. There is a 24 hr. Laundry room on site and the staff is very friendly. Keep in mind that there is no A/C. There's a nice breeze that comes in off the bay and the rooms are equipped with fans. The views are beautiful and the surrounding area is very walkable with parks, shops, and cafes nearby. I will definitely stay again."

"Nice old plantation style house with a beautiful yard and view of Hilo. Staff was nice and helpful, even tho I arrived a day and a half late. Very peaceful place to stay, with birds chirping in the morning and coqui frogs croaking at night."

"From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The room was great and spacious. It does get cold at night, but there is a portable heater in the room. The staff was literally a text away. I didn't want for anything. John was very pleasant and a joy to talk to. I will definitely put this on my hotels to stay at again."
