"The room had no soap, I had to go to the front desk and ask for more. Other than that, it was ok. I had more of an issue with the transportation company the hotel contracts out as an airport shuttle. They were unreliable. We had to call the hotel and ask for them to send a shuttle when other hotels had shuttles showing up every 5 minutes. Then this morning, there were about 5 people trying to get to the airport and the shuttle was 30 minutes late. The hotel tried to call them several times, and no one answered. I guess the driver overslept. We almost missed our flights. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised each day at Surf and Sand. The staff went above and beyond each day. Housekeeping was too notch with towel designs and the front desk offered complimentary beach wagon each day. The views of sunrise from our room were spectacular. The coffee was really good and available 24 hours. Proximity to the beach couldn’t be beat. Overall this place far exceeded our expectations given the affordability. We will be back! "
