「I feel the stay could have been better with greater attention to service. We paid for early check in, as we were attending a wedding and wanted to drop our things off/get ready. We were told that our twin bed set up had yet to be turned into separate beds from the king bed. When we got back at 12:30am, the beds hadn't been separated and at that point, just wanted to sleep.
It was a really uncomfortable night. The room was stiflingly hot and there were only too small upper windows, not letting...

「Lovely 3 night stay. Staff all very polite and helpful. Room was clean bathroom is rather small but was ok for a short break. Breakfast was great so many choices and not always the same every morning. Thank you :)」

「We had a wonderful stay at The Retreat. The room was spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the pantries with complementary drinks and snacks. The facilities are high quality, with an elegant feel without being dated. Food was good in both restaurants, as was breakfast. The spa was very relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful. 」

「Hotel itself is tired and quite run down, needs a large scale renovation. Room was clean but as with wider hotel is very dated. Hotel breakfast was poor. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Easy and free parking was a good benefit. Easy to access location wise. 」
