"Room 209. City view. Lovely room, spacious and nice modern design. Good shower and bathroom. Bed fairly comfortable although dipped slightly in middle with 2 medium sized people in it. Pillows were plump. The only thing which let it down was the window catch was broken and the window would not close fully meaning the noise from the main ring road was loud and constant and woke me up several times in the night. I tried to put something inside the catch but it reduced the noise only a little. I suggest the hotel inspects and fixes this. "

"Unfortunately not long before our booking we were told a party would be noisy till midnight, then although you make bookings for families i was told the children could not use the pool. The hotel and grounds were beautiful but the room could have been better. The bath was coming away from the front, the curtains were hanging off its hooks and let the light in the morning and the menu for room service was stained. We did enjoy the breakfast which was delicious."

"The staff were friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The hotel has a gym/spa that is well run and the facilities were great. The hotel has a bar/restaurant which we did not eat at because the prices were very high. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby. I would highly suggest upgrading your room to a club room. These rooms are in a different section of the hotel and come with, late checkout, a coffee maker, and gym/spa access..plus this area was quieter. The only thing that put us off was the amount of used bottles and dishes just laying around by the elevator. Also, we lost water pressure for about 30min for some reason. Other then that it was ok for a 1 night stay. We stayed here because we went to an event at the black country museum and it was only a 10 min walk away. "

"The pool is absolutely tiny and an extra charge so we decided against using it. Service at the bar was very slow with a long wait for anyone to come to serve for drinks. Doors were being slammed loudly until about 1am. The rooms are very small. Breakfast was good but I ended up with a dodgy tummy pretty much as soon as we left. Would have been much better at a premier in. "

"Parking safe at the back of property and free. Plenty of spirits and bottled beers. Staff excellent, extremely helpful. Room was spotless, nice double bed (for a single room) toilet and shower spotless. Really good value for what I paid. "

"Very poor space for bar and food. Room clean but lack of desk chair to use with table. Breakfast hit and miss."
