Everyone was pleasant. The room was great and the views were also great.

The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. I would rank the Hare and Hounds in Levens as...

The Ees Wyke is a true country inn with magnificent grounds and views of the countryside and lake. We stayed in the Lilac room which was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The public spaces, i.e. living room and dining room, were beautifully maintained and elegantly appointed. It was a nice experience and we really enjoyed it. The room was clean, staff was nice, and food was exquisite. I highly recommend Brown horse inn. Nice view.

CLEAN!!! Loved our cozy stay in the new, immaculate room. Thanks.

Victor and Johanna were so friendly and warm, we felt valued. The breakfasts were delicious! The hotel was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the easy parking. Being so close to restaurants and the town center made walking about so easy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Lovely staff, beautiful surroundies good place to access hikes or lovly small towns. Roads are narrow getting there but it is a gorgeous location. Excellent breakfast and pub food. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous little hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff.

We love staying here when we go to Barrow, such a lovely hotel.

An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.

Lovely country pub, with very friendly staff

Very clean and well laid out room interior. We were three travelers. Our room overlooked the garden with a window seating. Plenty of options for meals on premises.

Lovely property, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and drink. Would love to come back and stay longer next time!

Glenn and Susann were lovely hosts who showed us great hospitality. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was skillfully cooked to order, full of options and served with great attention. We enjoyed our stay at Storrs Gate House during our time in the Lake District.
