「This Candlewood Suites is a slept on gem in the Reading, PA area. Walking distance to a slew of diverse restaurants, breweries and grocery stores. Attentive staff who went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable with settling in for a few days. Free coffee, gym, laundry, fast wifi and free rental of games, books and other kitchen appliances; they’ve thought of everything. Would recommend it over the fancier hotels that I’ve stayed at before in the area. 」

「Loved the fun Grinch Christmas theme when you enter- everything was so lively and decorated like home- the warm coffee waiting when coming in each time from the cold Dec weather felt so inviting. Slept great with wonderful hot showers and great pressure. Wanted to see if you could tell me what type of oatmeal you use to cook for breakfast cause it was the best I have had in so long!」

「Checkin staff was super nice. Room was ok for the price and area. It’s a bit outdated and run down. Bed was ok and bath/shower was fine. AC unit was not the best but manageable. 」

「It’s a nice one night stay, with self sufficient carry on’s. Don’t expect to get supplies from the surroundings. 」

The staff was great, the room was big, and the breakfast actually tasted good - first time I was served egg omelets instead of powdered scrambled eggs. Wish I had more reasons to travel to Kutztown because I would definitely stay here!」
