「Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly.」

「Check in was easy and efficient. The room was all that could be expected, plus a few extras. A jar of a variety shortbread biscuits was a surprise along with an extremely varied options for hot drinks, i.e. Horlicks. A bowl of fruit was also an unexpected delight. The bathroom was well appointed, with shampoo, soap etc in pump pots. The bed itself was supremely comfortable with more than sufficient coverings. A large fan completed the array of convenience items, really handy with recent weather...

「Beautiful setting, nice hotel and amenities etc. Was disappointed with the soundproofing of the room as I could hear the people in room 9 snoring all Friday night ( I had little if any sleep) and I am registered partially deaf in both ears. I did comment to the receptionist in the morning and was told the rooms in the main house were better soundproofing as regards to maybe staying again in the future.」
