"Staff was apathetic "

"The room was clean. I was a little disappointed that my room wasn’t cleaned the next day. I got back to my room around 4:00 PM the bed wasn’t made. Still had my towels from the morning my trash was still in the room. I had to go downstairs and ask the front desk. What time do you all clean the rooms. She said was there a sign on your door in the morning. I said no I didn’t put my sign up to come later. I told the front desk that to get me new towels. She did get someone to bring me clean towels. Also the sink the water would go down super slow. "

"There's a trend in hotels to over-tech everything. Aloft was very guilty of this. The elevators were ridiculous and in the room either all the lights were on or all the lights were off. It's stupid. Especially the elevator. Annoying."

"We had a lovely stay. The front desk reception were incredibly friendly and kind. They remembered details of about our stay and activities we mentioned in passing. It showed me they were listening and interested rather than just doing their job. "
