「What a gem. We had a quiet mid-week stay. But it’s a small space so I would think even weekends shouldn’t feel too busy. Food and service were outstanding. Some short hikes available on the property as well. 」

「It was our family's second time at ANEW RESORT Hunters Rest, and it outdid the first time which was great! Again, we had a family birthday being celebrated, and we were greeted by Thabang at reception with a message from the staff. 「The highlight of our stay was meeting local Boer war expert and historian Rob Milne, who is based at the museum on site. We spent an immensely enjoyable hour and a half chatting about history and the remarkable stories that took place in SA. 」
