「We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic beer garden, overall great.

「This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.

「Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. 」

「Located in the centre of town and my car was parked in the Jockey Club carport throughout my stay. Very quiet, clean rooms with lots of toiletries and towels. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was superb, thank you 」
「Only spent one night here but our room was really good (modern and felt new). Had everything we needed and bed/pillows really good. It was hot night but expected it with the nice weather (room did have a small cooling unit and we brought our own fan). Nice bar and restaurant attached. Would stay here again next time we come to Haverhill.」
