Accommodation is across the road from the pub and events so nice and quiet and a great space at the front of the building for a evening drink. There was large function taking place which I was emailed about beforehand to let me know they had moved my room to be a little bit further away from the noise , howeve r we did not retune till midnight so it did not effect us . 10 out of 10 will recommend and stay again "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Calf’s Head, Clitheroe. We attended a wedding at a venue not far from here, so it was a great location for us. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the downstairs bar/dining was an asset to our stay. We both enjoyed a lovely full English the morning after with the option of fruit, cereals and yoghurts. "We enjoyed many facets of our stay at the Lister Arms in early May. The sights and walks are stupendous--there are steep walks and near flat walks along the river and some through stone walled grass fields with lots of sheep. The food at the Lister was excellent and we had meals in the morning, midday and evening. Great selection of real ales. Very attentive and engaging staff. "
