「Whilst we only had a very quick one night stay here en route to Paris we would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. We were very late checking in but this wasn’t an issue and the owners even told us to get some food at a neighbouring village before coming to check in. When we arrived we were shown to a lovely big room with comfy beds and a great big shower. We were quickly asleep. 「Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal. 」

「Lovely hotel that wa an unexpected last minute find when we needed a hotel for the night. The room was fantastic, the hotel was a little piece of old France in an out of tbe way place. Highly recommended.」

「Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend.」
