"The check in super slow. The rooms very bad and outdated. Lots of mosquitos. No elevators imagine an4 floor and no elevators. Only one man helping with the luggage for the entire property. The food taste terrible. The staff not friendly at all. Only the luggage man Amado was the only good service and helpful guy. All the others that I encountered in the property not nice at all. I will not recommend this place at all ."

"El personal es inmejorable siempre buscamos en el restaurante buffet a una chica super especial llamada Yoneudy. Excelente persona, muy familiar y hace su trabajo con amor, tambiennos atendio otra chica llamada Luz, super kerida. En general todo el personal es increible. En entretenimiento destaco al joven Luis, muy familiar tambien. Sus compañeros tambien son muy comprometidos!!. Gracias para todos y por todo. Porfa, mejoren la playa."

"My stay at Doromas in Las Terrenas was truly exceptional. The property is brand new, having recently opened in November 2026, and it absolutely shows in every detail. All of the amenities—including the pools, gym, spa, kids’ pool, paddle boats, and paddle courts—are state-of-the-art, impeccably maintained, and in excellent condition. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with brand-new beds and pillows that made for a very relaxing stay. Everything throughout the property was spotless, tastefully designed, and beautifully decorated. The elevators and facilities all felt modern, efficient, and luxurious. One of the highlights of the hotel is its stunning beachfront setting. The private beach area is peaceful and beautifully maintained, while the calm waterfront makes it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the ocean. The staff was courteous, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would especially recommend stopping by to say hello to Antonio, the property manager from Costa Rica, who did an outstanding job making sure we felt welcomed and taken care of during our visit. Doromas is definitely a must-stay destination in Las Terrenas. We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning. Wishing everyone who visits as wonderful a time as we had."

"The hotel in it self is a bit run down. It needs a bit of a do-up and I think they're at it. That said, they really made sure people were enjoying themselves and that they had fun. I was there solo but time went so quick, so much to do!"

"El hotel es nuevo, tiene una arquitectura moderna, bien diseñado, habitaciones, lobbys, bares, restaurantes, todo bien diseñado e impecable. El servicio del personal es inmejorable, excelente. Debieron colocar mas palmas para generar mas sombras, el sol es muy muy fuerte. Y me desencantó la playa, debieron cubrir con arena una sección rocosa frente al hotel, prácticamente es un hotel sin playa para bañarse."

"Nuestra experiencia no fue la mejor. El bien tiene todas las condiciones para ofrecer una mejor experiencia, sin embargo no fue así. Enojados desatentos, falta de amabilidad y en muchas área insuficiente. Durante el almuerzo o cena durábamos hasta una hora esperando un vaso de agua o simplemente tenedores para poder comer. En el comedor los empleados andaban con pedidos sin saber què hacer, mientas esperábamos que nos atendieran. La animación del hotel no es que sea mala, es que no existe. Luego de cenar por ejemplo, no hay mucho que hacer más que ir a dormir."
