「Absolutely superb in every way. I will stay here again. On arrival I was shown the bar, restaurant and lovely garden by the receptionist. Facilities are everything I wanted and the staff so helpful and welcoming. Five stars in every way.」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」

「Stayed for one night, family of four. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we stepped through the main door of the building. Were greeted with a big welcome in the cosy and beautiful lounge. House was very clean. Staff were wonderful, friendly and gone out of their way to serve us. They lived up to their standards of "from home to home" saying. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. 「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
