Harrow, close to Harrow on the Hill is ok for shopping but not very attractive. The actual village of Harrow on the Hill with all its history and beautiful buildings and views is stunning!

The Strand Palace is in an excellent location within walking distance of the National Gallery, St.Paul's Cathedral, the West End theaters, etc. The room was lovely with all the amenities one could hope for, including a Keurig machine for early morning coffee. Thermostat did not work, phone did not work, bath was quite cold with curtains constantly blowing into you. Very disappointed

The staff was the highlight of the stay. Very personable and hospitable. The first day of my stay there was no hot water due to a fire alarm being tripped the day before. Well-equipped kitchen, nice common areas and new, fully functional appliances. Easily accessible by the tube, about 30 minutes from central London. Great value for money!
