「The Casso is in an excellent downtown Raleigh location and was walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and things to do and see. The entire staff was professional and courteous and friendly. Jonathan, who checked us in and whom we saw in most of our comings and goings, was the BEST!. He always greeted us, was interested in how our day or evening had gone, and made our stay more enjoyable. We highly recommend The Casso for your stay in Raleigh.」

「There is no staff on-site. Check-in and property access is via text and a code box. The code did not work for me, even with multiple attempts and variations. Once in the room, a key fob will let you get into the building with no problem. This property is a maze of short corridors and fire doors. There are elevators, but you won't know where it will take you. I walked a looong way to find my room. The stairwells are unfinished concrete. 「The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the amphitheater and is easy to access. Breakfast was good. Because the hotel is close to the road, the room was a bit noisy, but white noise helped minimize the disturbance. The bed was very soft and sat low to the ground. We would have preferred a firmer mattress. We had reserved a king room but were given a room with a queen bed and a daybed instead. Overall a good experience for a one night stay.」
