We like staying here because it's a great location on the main drag of Hampton Beach. There are a few ocean front rooms that are great for a price, but the other rooms are clean and adequate but on the small side. Showers are extremely small in I think all the units. No complaints ever staying here.

Cleanliness Should Be Priority
I love staying at Atlantic Sands any chance I get. It’s right across from the ocean and in the middle of all activities. However, every time I stay, the room is not very clean. They really need to do a deep cleaning before/after each season and it just seems that whoever they have doing regular cleanup needs better training. Contact me if you’d like a professional consultation. For the money I pay, I shouldn’t have to see the previous people’s fingerprints and grossness everywhere.

This property location amd the staff and check in process were excellent. However we felt quite unsafe. There was no deadbolt on the foor for security, nor did our patio door lock.

Ok for last minute booking
For the price, the room was smaller than my own bedroom at home and I live in a 648 sq ft home! Cleanliness was good but there were cosmetic defects in walls and whatnot. Bed was comfy and AC worked well. Location was good but claiming 2 1/2 flights of stairs was brutal.

Great location for a weekend at the beach!
Weekend trip for the annual Hampton Beach Seafood Festival. The location was perfect and oceanview from the balcony was beautiful. Parking was included. We arrived a little early to check-in which they allowed however the room had not been cleaned after the previous guests checked out. The cleaning crew left for the day but the front desk clerk and Manager jumped right and cleaned it immediately. It is definitely a “beach” motel, great location but needs some updating and sink water smelled like sewer water.

Steps from the boardwalk and ocean. The location is the BEST around! The beds are so hard and uncomfortable. We barely slept. We had to cut our trip short because we were exhausted and couldn’t sleep. We had to disinfect everything. It wasn’t clean. There was mold growing on the bathroom ceiling which was disgusting, marijuanna shake in one of the kitchen drawers and an old dirty shower curtain ring in the cupboard. Not sure if we would stay again unless we brought our own memory foam bed topper and cleaning crew!

Employees are terrible. International students that don’t have manners or know any of the equipment. There was no WiFi as it was suppose to be in the room I picked so I was not able to do any work.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. It was smack in the middle of everything. The room was extremely small and I didn’t care about that because typically we’re never in the room it’s just a place to sleep shower and we’re gone but this room was filthy it was disgusting they were no closets just a bar to hang your clothes from the ceiling the outlets in the walls were pulled out the wall shower was so small that when you washed your hair your elbows were hitting the walls the rug was filthy the halls were filthy it was just terribly dirty we didn’t run the AC because the filter was BEYOND filthy. Never a person at the front desk. STAY AWAY!!

Great place for convenience.
My friend and I enjoyed our stay. We spent more time out of the hotel than in. The only thing that was not great was the television but we were not there for the TV. They also let us park before check in.

DO NOT GO HERE dirty , unkempt .. ac was dripping all night long on the nightstand… room smelled of smoke Ac was blowing our stale musty odor Could not park in the “ free parking lot “ 2 blocks down as there was NO spots No late checkout Expedia said 11 am Hotel said 1030 no exceptions I would never have stayed here Except it was the cheapest place last minute Not worth the price

As a person who has had a knee replacement and needs another one, and my husband has COPD, we were disappointed that it was not disclosed that parking was at another location and we had to walk to the premises with all of our belongings then climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our tiny room. This “hotel” is VERY basic. No coffee, no hair dryer, no ice machine, no vending, absolutely nothing but a room with no closet. It is however the perfect location to shopping, beach, and anything you’d want to eat. If you can navigate the stairs. We spent most of our time in the room.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and did not have any issues. This time was much different. After a long day in the sun on the beach, we wanted to lay down and watch tv for a little to relax. We would’ve been more comfortable laying on concrete. The bed had absolutely no cushion to it. We had 3 pillows that may as well have been a cotton ball. When we tried to turn the tv on, the direct cable wasn’t even working. Tried troubleshooting our selves (different inputs, unplug, restart..the usuals) and nothing. We called to the front desk and the gentleman said “I haven’t had cable in 20 years, I have no idea try hitting buttons”. Oh. When we went to shower before going out, the shower was so small my elbows were touching each other end when showering. We booked for two nights but ended up leaving a day early because the room was so uncomfortable. Reached out to the owner and no response. Will never return.

I've stayed here multiple times and its very convenient to the beach and strip. I had one of the balcony rooms which was great for sitting outside to relax after walking all day, see the ocean and watch the fireworks. However, the room smelled extremely musty and the balcony and the deck furniture were covered with bird poop.

No frills clean and quiet place to stay!
Just needed a clean quiet room for an overnight after a concert. The place is obviously old but was clean and comfortable and just a quick walk from the concert venue!
