"The kitchen was well equipped if we had needed it. Did not use the laundry this time but it's handy to know it's there, and easy to use. The room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. The heat pump was good, and not always available in motels. A handy location. "

"Bathroom was not clean, toilet or shower. Heat pump was only blowing cold air. Reception was very unhappy when we arrived and when I complained before check out she looked under pressure and upset as there were other people staying wanting to complain. Her welfare I was concerned about and could very well be an investigation by the council. The lifts had mixed messages on how many people can be in lift and also the weight on 3 stickers were all different. There was no certification ticket any where. The stairs were out of commission so what does one do in a fire???? The Hamilton City council have a lot to explain as does the hotel. No one was available to take our complaints after hours. The VR in the name must stand for Very Rundown. Shocking stay!!!"
