Check in was easy and parking (under the hotel) was convenient. Breakfasts were excellent, good choice and well presented. The only slight problem was the lack of air conditioning but the window opened wide (and safely) so the hot weather was bearable.

The hotel met an important locational need and is convenient for the Stadtpark (which is well worth visiting at any time of year but especially in the autumn) as well as a U-bahn station to get into the City Centre. The rooms are good, clean and tidy and the breakfasts are very good indeed, staff have always been friendly (I have stayed there a number of times now). Underground parking is worth paying for as there are little or no spaces on-street. The street itself is quiet.

I liked that it was close to the venue we were attending. The train station was nearby. We loved the park. Rooms were clean and open bar well stocked. The issue I had was air circulation. But it’s Europe…no ac. A fan would be nice. Staff was wonderful. Oh and loved that all the light switches can be controlled at the bedside. No getting in and out of bed.

The rooms were not so clean. They kept the windows open and there were usually some kind of insect in the room. They did not provide slippers even when we asked. They had a cheap parking outside but the garage was rather expensive. The location was convenient. You could walk 5 minutes to STADRAD bicycle station.

Pleasantly surprised

This place exceeded my expectations. I was only looking for an affordable place near the Hamburg airport, but was surprised how nice it was for the price. The hotel is part of an apartment complex and is a fairly residential part of Winterhude (hip spot) It’s a short bus ride away from Mühlenkamp strip with a ton of bars and restaurants. The room was great. Looked as if it was recent remodeled with nice lighting, fine bathroom and a sweet coffee/mini-bar setup. Coffee was 1€ per pod and fridge drinks were 3€. The gym was one of the nicest I’ve seen in a hotel at this price point. Full weight selection, your standard cardio spread and a room full of peloton-type stationary bikes for a spin class.

Our second time staying at this hotel while visiting our son. While not a fancy hotel it definitely has the charm of being close to so much in the city of Hamburg. It’s clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there on our next trip to Hamburg.

Bis auf das dass der Aufzug nicht immer ging waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Hotel liegt zentral man hat eine gute Anbindung mit U-Bahn oder Bus überall hin.Der Stadtpark befindet sich in der Nähe. Sehr zu empfehlen.
