This is a fab place to stay if you want peaceful space. There’s not the usual “full service” of a hotel but if you look past that, or want too draw sports facilities this is the ideal choice!

A nice place in Hamburg
We had some confusion over the room type we reserved at check-in. Hopefully we got what we paid for, but it was a little confusing. The room we reserved only entitled us to a king size bed and a chair. There was no couch in the room. The spa area and pool is all very nice at the hotel. Close to the bus line too if you aren't renting a car!

Very well set up spa hotel
Great hotel with great facilities. A little out of the city centre but very close to the lake and a bus stop across the road that takes you right into the city centre and on to the port.

This hotel has 3 swimming pools - indoor, outdoor (heated) and childrens. It also has a gym, spa, tennis courts, etc. If you enjoy sports you will have a wonderful time here. Our room was quite spacious with a large armchair as well as a comfortable desk chair. There are also lounge areas (not bars) where you can relax. The staff were kind and helpful. Many of them speak excellent English.

I thought the hotel was really good and it has a great spa and swimming pools. I didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. The hotel is in a pleasant neighbourhood within walking distance of the nearest U-bahn station. There is also a bus stop outside which is served by frequent services to the city centre and some of the main sights eg the old docks, the central shopping area, town hall, and St Michael's church. All of these are well worth a visit - Hamburg is a very nice city! I only wish I'd stayed longer at this hotel!

Christmas Vacation
Really enjoyed visiting the Aspria Hamburg Uhlenhorst during the Christmas holidays. The Room was a nice home away from home, and the onsite Restaurant, Gym, and Spa made our stay even more special.

Great hotel; clean, modern, and easy to access. There is a parking garage underground for guests (additional charge that you pay when you check out). The hotel employees are friendly and want to help.

Positiv: Schöne Zimmer, großes Hotel, nettes Personal ( zumindest überwiegend ), tolles Badezimmer, tolles Fitness Studio, im Sommer viele Möglichkeiten ( Fußball, Tennis ), super Anbindung zum Busverkehr Negativ: Keine Kafeemaschine auf dem Zimmer, teure Parkplätze, Frühstück sehr wenig auswahl, Dusche wird zwischendurch kalt, wenn Nachbar duschen, hört man das recht laut auf dem Zimmer, Spa Bereich darf man nur ohne Bekleidung betreten, kaum bzw gar keine Wlan verbindung auf dem Zimmer

Personal, Umgebung und Möglichkeiten vor Ort sind hervorragend. Als Sportbegeisterter ist es ein Traum - Gym etc alles im Haus. Leider waren in meinem Zimmer die Fliesen teilweise lose und Fugen nicht mehr vorhanden, sowie die Klimaanlage ungewöhnlich laut.

An der Sauberkeit ist nichts auszusetzen. Beim Personal & Service kommt es darauf an, wo man sich gerade befindet. An der Rezeption war das Personal stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Clubbistro, in dem wir nur beim Frühstück waren, war das Personal hingegen überfordert, pampig und nicht aufmerksam. Benutzte Teller standen lange herum, Tische wurden nicht abgeputzt, Speisen beim Buffet wurden gar nicht oder erst nach langer Wartezeit aufgefüllt, selbst Teller und Besteck waren teilweise nicht mehr vorhanden und wurden erst nach Nachfrage aus der Küche geholt (frisch aus der Spülmaschine, nass). Gerade im Hinblick auf die Größe des Hotels, den Preis des Frühstücks und den vermeintlich gehobenen Standards, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis enttäuschend! Zustand & Einrichtungen waren in Ordnung. Umgebung war in Ordnung. Jedoch ein großes Hockeyfeld, Trainingsgeräte etc. in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel zu bauen finde ich unpassend., Die angebotenen Massagen, welche von uns auch gebucht wurden, waren sehr gut. Das Personal hier ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Als Clubmitglied hier den Spa/Wellness-Bereich zu nutzen ist wahrscheinlich echt gut. Als Hotelgast fühlt man sich hier aber nicht wohl und eher als "Nebensache".
