The guy who checked me in was unfriendly and made me feel like I shouldn’t have brought pets even though they’re “pet friendly” and I already had messaged them, and received a response that my 2 dogs and cat were very welcome. Small pet fee, no problem at all. I stayed 2 nights and they held a $300 damage deposit on top of my $400+ stay. It was returned to me but I think they should warn people up front.
Also the description says all rooms have AC, definitely not true. No AC in 22, and you’re right at the entrance so opening the window is not ideal, very busy. Floors were pretty dirty. No microwave. Bathroom could really use some basic updates, the tub looks filthy because it’s so worn through. Caulking needs replaced badly too and the shower head needs CLR.
Breakfast was very tasty, and the gal working at the restaurant was fantastic, I really liked her! And my checkout experience was great too, lovely lady helped me out and was super friendly even though she was really busy at the moment!
Overall it was a fine landing place for me and my pets, who just drove across the country from Alberta. And there’s a park that’s dog friendly (leash required) only a few minutes away.
