「The welcome was perfect from very friendly staff and I slep well and is in a good location.The hotel looks as if its been a long time since any attention was given to the decor, our room looked very tired and the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. The continental breakfast was meagre to say the least, cereal, toast, old fruit, and amused many other guests. Not good value for the money.」

「Only stayed one night location was perfect for Piece Hall. Although clean, rooms were tired. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.」

「We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

「Very nice and helpful staff. A parking garage and some shops and restaurants were in immediate vicinity. The hotel is 20-25mins walking distance from Halifax train station, be advised though that the entire walk is uphill since the station is the lowest point of the city. The city itself is very accessible from the hotel with most shops and locations just a few minutes away. Very decently sized rooms with room for your luggage without feeling cramped in.」

「Ideal central yet quiet location. The property was described accurately and was adequately equipped. Plenty of spotless linen provided and starter packs of beverages. It was exactly what we needed- I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone needing comfortable overnight/weekend/business accommodation. 」
